2025 was a good year for us. A transition year, perhaps — and one in which the silence was broken.
We kicked things off with a try-out at the B52, testing our new 'light setup,' and then took it on the road to Prague. After Prague came Morecambe in England. Since Salva couldn’t join us in Erfurt, Mika stepped in on bass — and ended up sticking around.
So what’s next? The 'industrial groove machine' formula, as Eldritch once described it, suits us well and will serve as the blueprint for the next album. I’m sitting on a mountain of ideas and demos and promise to bottle them up in 2026.
And there’s more coming that year: in spring we’re heading to Cologne, and in autumn we’ll tour with Solar Lodge, taking us through Germany, Switzerland, and Italy. Hopefully, we can add even more dates to that list.
And will the 6 piece live band continue to exist? We haven’t written that formula off just yet. As far as I’m concerned, Emeric and Jacky are still very much part of the YLOH family. I hope we’ll find the time and opportunity to rehearse and hit the stage again as a six-piece band on special occasions.
